after clicking on the close button the spoon window does appear but when i run a new transformation or any other transformation the same error message comes saying that "an error occuring reading a transformation from the repository.".

i have posted the same query on the 1st of feb 2006 the reply to which "use the kettle2.2.2".but the problem is not yet solved.
i am also sending you the transformation's xml file if it could be of any help for you which is attached as the C:\Documents and Settings\db27422\Desktop\dinesh_trans.ktr

could you please tell me where actually the error lies?

    thanks in advance.

Default RE: unable to read from repositories

    Hi,

The problem seems to be solved if the jdbc of mysql is upgraded to mysql driver mysql-connector-java-3.1.12-bin instead of the mysql-connector-java-3.1.7-bin version that is in the libext folder.
I just copied the .12 version of the JDBC in the mentioned folder, and renamed it as mysql-connector-java-3.1.7-bin (otherwise kettle does not find it )

    cheers
    Ruy
