We have created around 10 transformations; we want to parameterize the source files, source tables, target files, target tables and lookup tables.

There are options ${file.encoding}, ${file.encoding.pkg} and ${TargetTable} by using this we are able to parameterize the things (we have to give values at run time)

But our requirement is we have to call all the parameters from one file that will contain all the details of the parameter values

I have a file “parameterdetails” in that I define all the parameters that I have used in my transformations (param1 = c:\Source\file_06012006,param2= MySQL.inputtable….).

If I run my transformations all the parameter values should be taken from that file.

We want to call all parameters (filenames and table names) from one file

Is it possible with Kettle or not?
