    Default Pentaho portlets in liferay?

    Hi,

    has anyone managed to deploy pentaho portlets in liferay? we are using the following versions:
    liferay-portal-jboss-tomcat-4.2.0
    pentaho-1.2.0.534-GA
    j2sdk1.4.2_13

    We are facing various problems and are wondering if anybody has done this before and give us some hints.

    Thanx Chris

    Default Help with Pentaho/Liferay

    This is not EXACTLY your config, but this fella did quite a bit of work and documenting on getting Pentaho, Liferay and Glassfish working together back in July 2006 on our RC1 release. Possibly there is something in his archive of tips for that config that can help you -

    Keep me up to date on your progress!

    Hi,

    I need your help, my english is not good, by i try.....

    I am constructing xsl from which I need to connect itself to a data base, for this creates a class in java “dbCall”, that gives the result to me that I need and I invoke them from xsl. My problem is that when I execute xsl it throws an error to me that says: <rejectedDetails>javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: Cannot find to matching 5-argument function named {java: com.mc2g.dbconn.dbCall} excecQuery ()

    xsl:
    <xsl:stylesheet
    exclude-result-prefixes="DBCall"
    version="1.0"
    xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
    xmlnsBCall="java:com.mc2g.dbconn.dbCall"
    xmlns:saxon="http://saxon.sf.net">
    <saxon:script language="java"
    implements-prefix="DBCall"
    src="java:com.mc2g.dbconn.dbCall">
    </saxon:script>

    <xsl:template match="/">
    <tag1>
    <xsl:value-of select="DBCall:excecQuery (string('mysql'),string('root'),string(''),string('localhost'),string('normaliza'))"/>
    </tag1>
    </xsl:template>

    </xsl:stylesheet>

    dbCall:

    package com.mc2g.dbconn;
    import java.sql.ResultSet;
    import java.sql.SQLException;

    public class dbCall {
    public String dbType = null;
    public String dbUser = null;
    public String dbPassword= null;
    public String dbHost = null;
    public String database = null;

    public String excecQuery(String dbType, String dbUser, String dbPassword, String dbHost, String database) {

    dbExQuery q = new dbExQuery("mysql", "root", "", "localhost", "testccornejo1");
    //dbExQuery q = new dbExQuery(dbType, dbUser, dbPassword, dbHost, database);
    String codeISO=null;
    try {
    ResultSet rs = q.selectCodeISO("2200");
    while (rs.next()){
    codeISO=rs.getString("valorDest");
    System.out.println(codeISO);

    }

    } catch (SQLException e) {
    // TODO Auto-generated catch block
    e.printStackTrace();

    }
    return codeISO;

    }

    }

    PLEASE HELPME!!!!
    BEST REGARDS,
    Carolina Cornejo.

    Sorry - but I don't understand what you are asking. What Pentaho product are you working with and what are you trying to do?

    Please post your question to the appropriate forum. This forum is for people to share solutions that they have created. it is not for questions.

    Thanks,
    Doug
