What do you think devs, should we include support for the Microsoft SQL
Server JDBC driver in Kettle?
Personally, I think that for backward compatibility reasons (different JDBC
URL options) we could go for a an extra driver, not a replacement:

- MS SQL Server (Microsoft Driver)
- MS SQL Server (jTDS Driver)

Personally I doubt that the performance difference is all that big, but I
guess we should do a few tests before we can tell for sure.

All the best,

Subject: MSSQL JDBC Driver Redistribution Rights

Hey all,

We just secured the redistribution rights to the Microsoft SQL Server JDBC
driver (more performant and more features than the JTDS driver). I've
attached the rights to this e-mail for future reference. We can have a quick
discussion on whether we should re-distribute it, but we are now allowed to
re-distribute it.
