    Question XBase file encoding

    Hi all,

I have a dBase file (DBF) which seems to be encoded according to codepage 437 (US), but contains strings with french characters. Those characters are incorrectly read by the "Extract from XBase File" step. I think it assume that the codepage is 1252 (Latin).
For example a è (latin small letter e with grave), which has code 0x8A in the dBase file, appears as Š (latin capital s with caron).

Is there a solution to this problem? Can I set the codepage like in the "Extract from File" step?

I am using the 2.5.0 version of PDI.
Thanks a lot for your help.

File a feature request to make sure we don't forget to do this.
    Thanks,
    Matt
