Thread: Subversion via HTTP not SVN

Unhappy Subversion via HTTP not SVN

I am trying to figure out why I can connect to other subversion projects (Apache) but not Pentaho. I am behind a coprorate firewall and it appears the svn protocol is not supported. I can connect to Apache's Subversion because they have exposed it via HTTP as well as SVN.

Has Pentaho exposed their Subversion via HTTP or will you do this? If I try http://source.pentaho.org/svnroot

    I get:

    RA layer request failed
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/svnroot'
svn: PROPFIND of '/svnroot': 405 Method Not Allowed (http://source.pentaho.org)

We cannot test and improve the Metadata project without access to the latest build.

    Brit,

I will have someone look into the http SVN issue. In the meantime, the nightly builds with source are available via the ftp site. We just added metadata to the nightly builds. You can find them at:

    ftp://community.pentaho.org/client/metadata

Read-only access is currently available through the http protocol for both kettle and the svnroot repositories.

    http://source.pentaho.org/svnroot/

    http://kettle.pentaho.org/svn

Let me know how this works for you.
