Thread: trunk compile problems.

    Default trunk compile problems.

Anyone else getting the following error when compiling the 3.0 trunk:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no swt-
    gtk-3333 or swt-gtk in swt.library.path, java.libary.path or the jar
    file
    at org.eclipse.swt.internal.Library.loadLibrary(Library.java:219)
    at org.eclipse.swt.internal.Library.loadLibrary(Library.java:151)
    at org.eclipse.swt.internal.C.<clinit>(C.java:21)
    at org.eclipse.swt.internal.Converter.wcsToMbcs(Converter.java:63)
    at org.eclipse.swt.internal.Converter.wcsToMbcs(Converter.java:54)
    at org.eclipse.swt.widgets.Display.<clinit>(Display.java:128)
    at org.pentaho.di.spoon.Spoon.main(Spoon.java:6872)

or any solutions... it's under windows and I've been getting it since
a couple of hours after updating the trunk.

    Regards,
    Sven

Sorry Sven, that would be my fault.
I'm developing under Linux now and I put the linux swt.jar in the classpath.
You can put it back if you like.
I don't know what the solution for this might be.

That solves part of it... next up are some parts in core.gui which
don't compile anymore and these new xul thingies which blow up
    Spoon.java on this line:

    MenuItemSeparator sep = menuBar.getSeparatorById( "file-last-
    separator" ); //$NON-NLS-1$

in addMenuLast() as the menuBar is null while going through the method
while starting up. I did a local SVN mass reverse of the xul changes
    and everything works again.

    Regards,
    Sven

    It's returning Map<String, String> now.
You know, just to confuse things. To keep you on your toes.
To make sure you're paying attention.

    use keySet() now i.s.o. keys()

I get the following error while trying to compile :

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problem:

    at org.pentaho.di.core.gui.GUIResource.getInstance(GUIResource.java:138)
    at org.pentaho.di.core.Props.init(Props.java:202)
    at org.pentaho.di.spoon.Spoon.<init>(Spoon.java:407)
    at org.pentaho.di.spoon.Spoon.<init>(Spoon.java:368)
    at org.pentaho.di.spoon.Spoon.main(Spoon.java:6949)

    The line in spoon.java

    Enumeration keys = kettleVariables.getProperties().keys();

    make trouble (method is undefined).

    Any Help?

    Thanks

I put an Exception in there to display the absense of "ui/menubar.xul"
I'm sure James will commit the missing files "soonish".

    All the best,

    Matt

    Sorry all,

James has been having SVN problems, and his new-file commits are
failing. You know, he is on a Mac... :-D

Anyway, I had him .zip up his files and send 'em to me. They're now in
    the trunk.

    Sorry for the issues,

    Marc (Batman)
