Default Return auto-generated key in Table output

Is it a SQL Server specific feature? I tested it in Oracle and the table output step failed because of it with error message " Couldn't prepare statement:". It works fine without checking this option.

It kind of making sense because there is no "identity" column in Oracle. However, we still have a primary key and a trigger in the database to automatically populate this column using a sequence. Is there a way to return this primary key for table output step?

    Thanks,

    Tao

Duh, Oracle doesn't support auto-generated keys, only sequences.

Thanks for the reply. I think I will just use combination lookup instead of table output and use sequence there.

    Thanks,
