    Default Errors while connecting repository

The version which I am using is Spoon Version 2.5.0.

    (1) I want to connect to our Sybase IQ database: new--> and then input all necessary information, ex: ODBC, server name, and login user/pw. To test the connection, it is fine and be able to see the tables via Explore.

(2)then, i am back to the first page of Pentaho Data Integration and input login information. Here is the error message comes up:

    -------------------------------------------------------

The version of the repository is 2.2

This Kettle edition requires it to be at least version 2.5

Please upgrade the repository using the repository dialog (edit)

Also see the Repository Upgrade Guide (in docs/English) for more information

    -------------------------------------------------------

    (3) then, I came back to the "Repository information" page to "Edit" the repository. After going through the processes, I got this error message:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

Unable to create or modify table R_REPOSITORY_LOG

Couldn't execute SQL: CREATE TABLE R_REPOSITORY_LOG
    (
ID_REPOSITORY_LOG INTEGER NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY
    , REP_VERSION VARCHAR(255) NULL
    , LOG_DATE DATETIME NULL
    , LOG_USER VARCHAR(255) NULL
    , OPERATION_DESC TEXT NULL
    )

[Sybase][ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server IQ]Large Objects Management functionality is not licensed on this server.

    any thoughts?

    thanks!

It seems you miss a license or something like it ( http://infocenter.sybase.com/help/in...yberror25.html )

    I'm not Sybase expert....

I am also interestedin the the solution -
I am using ODBC connection to C-Tree Server - and I am experiancing the same issue and get the same sequence of progarm alerts and error messages -

Is this a DBMS issue? Is it an ODBC issue? is it a formate issue on the fiields in the DMBS?

    Thanks in advance

Which exact error message do you get... I doubt you get "[Adaptive Server IQ]" in the error message as the OP. Or I would be very surprised.
