Question How do I translate the JPivot toolbar tooltips

    Hi,

Is there a way to translate the JPivot toolbar tooltips externally, e.g. via properties file? I saw references to a resources.properties while searching the web, but can't find it in the Pentaho installation anywhere. Is my only chance to change the JPivot source?

    Thanks for any help.

    Default Don't panic!

Hi! You don't need to change the source! You can do it easily by using properties-files!

Within the toolbar-tag from the demo jsp you can find an attribute bundle="com.tonbeller.jpivot.toolbar.resources".
You can find a file com.tonbeller.jpivot.toolbar.resources.properties in the jpivot.jar file and in the same package some translations.
You can use this concept for your own needs.
If you only want to change the tooltips, you could change the properties-files within the jar.
But the better way, I think, is to write new tooltips-files, put them in the context/WEB-INF/classes-directory and
change the bundle-attribute in the toolbar-tag.
    Okay?
