Default Get Rows prev result - trick to autopopulate?

    Hey all,
I have an existing 'uber' transformation (run in a job) that has a lot of steps. I would like to break up this transformation into more discrete components.

Using the 'Get Rows from Previous Result' you can choose not to populate, but when you go to check other steps (like ModJS steps or others), since the fields are not defined it doesn't handle it well.

Is there a quick way to auto-populate 'Get Rows' with the field data (including types) from the previous transformation that has the 'Copy Rows' step?

Or, is it generally good practice to keep one transformation per 'rowset' definition?

    No not really

Depends... I even "land" to intermediate (text) files ... what about serialize/deserialize to file?

    Regards,
