Question Best way to filter db rows?

    Hello.

I want to filter some rows (for instance, where client_id IN (something read from text file). What is the best way to do this?

I know I can use the join, or filter argument, but that assumes I've previously read all the tables in the database, which can be a big overhead.

What is the best way to optimize it?

    Thanks

From text file, using a filter step for the general case. If you read the rows from the database include the filter in your SQL query.

Can I join rows in a string like "'rowvalue1','rowvalue2',..." to use in a IN string?
