Default How to transfer data from using 2 tables

    Hello All,

    I have 2 databases db1 and db2.
db1 is in oracle and db2 is in informix. I have to move data from db1 to db2.
Can't i use 2 tables as input and map all the columns to o/p table.
If i am doing so i am getting error as

    Stepname Result Remark
Table output Mapping 2 - Remark Fields in input stream, not found in selection:

Selected fields that were not found in input stream:

    COL5
    COL6
    COL7
    I have 2 i/p tables t1 having columns as c1,c2,c3,c4 and table t2 has c5,c6,c7 as columns.
O/P table has columns c1 to c7. columns c1 and c2 has not null constraint.

Of course that's possible. You just need to make the transformations necessary so that the rows that go into the destination table have the right format. Add constants, alter/remove columns, whatever it takes

But i can not have to delete or alter the table.

You dont alter the final table structure, you just modify the rows of the extracted data inside kettle to match the destination table

Check the samples directory, there are a lot of examples that show what you need.
