Thread: Spoon: restore session?

  1. #1

    Default Spoon: restore session?

Is there a way to have Spoon restart and open exactly the same jobs/transforms as your last session?
Right now everytime I shutdown Spoon and then restart it I have to manually open all of the jobs/transforms that I was working on.

Nope, it's one of the items in the fun bucket I guess.
After 3.0 is released we'll most likely put it in.

    Matt,
I have no idea how easy/hard this might be to implement but it would sure be really useful. I'd like to see it get into 3.0 if there was any way to make that happen. Not having this type of behavior is a really big pain. At least for me when you have to reopen 10-20 jobs/transforms every time you start Spoon. pleeeeezzzzzzz!!!!!!!

There is 0% change of that happening.
Once we're in a feature freeze, no new features get in.
Even with the bugs we're fixing right now, we have to be really careful.

Make a JIRA tracker so it's not forgotten at http://jira.pentaho.org/browse/PDI

Personally I would only rate it trivial or minor. If that's the only problem you have you're a lucky guy . And I would not recommend having 20 transformations open at the same time, it's slow and it looks like a mess.

    Sven
