Thread: No Subscribe link for new solution repository

Default No Subscribe link for new solution repository

I've created a new solution repository along side samples called support. I've published a couple of different reports. One using the Report Designer Wizard and the other user WARQ (Adhoc wizard). I've set up the schedules and content. If I set a sample report up on a schedule I can subscribe to it but if I set a support (new solution repository) up on a schedule the subcribe link does not show.

What am I missing to set up the new solution directory? I've copied over the index.xml and files. Any ideas?

It's possible that if you're using the dbbased repository that the folder you created doesn't have subscribe permission.

It's the default demo install. I believe that is a file based repository since all reports and solutions are in the webapp. Or does db based mean that the organization and permissions are stored on the db side but the files are stored in the webapp? I'm a bit confused here I guess. If this is db based how does one go about getting the permissions set up? Is this in hibernate or quartz?

    Thanks for the lead!

To get the subscribe button to show on my own custom reports I had to publish it to a subfolder of my main solution folder. My structure is:

Publishing to support (main solution folder) would not show the subscribe button. Publishing to cases DID SHOW the subscribe button.

I hope this helps someone else out there.
