    Default How to Deploy Kettle????

    Hi there

    how i deploy some of kettle transformation or job . i mean i have developed a transformation now i want to give it to the client but my client is so smart to open kettle and run the process!!!

    so how can i make it exe or some kind of runnable application.

    Default

    You use kettle or carte(iirc) to call the transformation or job. They are command line based backends that don't require the graphical frontend. You can then set it up either as a simple .bat file and either run it manually or add it to a task scheduler.

    Default Deploy Transformation of Kettle

    Hi there

    will you plz tell me detail how can i run the Transformation (ktr) from command line

    my problem is i want to run my ktr file without the SPoon GUI. i just want to run the ktr file as exe or some kind of batch file is running

    any help would be great

    Look at the pan documentation under docs/english in your kettle installation. For carte there's also a manual, but start with pan.

    I am looking for UI that enable the control over job execution and scheduling for jobs creates with Spoon?

    Nothing yet that comes integrated with PDI... something is in the making as closed source component.
