    Question Please Check this Error in Spoon

    I need to set a Variables and i would like to change it's values during runtime the set Environment Variables Plug_in doesn't perform what i need can you help me

    Once a variable is set in a transformation you can't reset it (in a safe way). You have to use multiple transformations to get different values (in different executions of a transformation).

    In the samples directory there's something like "process all tables" which does this kind of processing.

    Question Let me Explain More

    let there are folder contains excel sheets and named by the date
    so the order of those files by date i need to design a transformation that reading all files and pass them one by one to perform something so i tried to reading all files by Get File Names plug-in and then pass one by one to set Variables plug-in

    Sure, it's possible (if I understand correctly)... Look under the sample directory of your Kettle installation to the example "Process all tables", and instead of reading a list of tables use a get files step.
