    Default create xaction for Kettle !!!!!

    yeap i see lot of xaction files under sample directory.
    but i really really hunger for some document where it will describe how to create xaction file for kettle.

    It's virtually impossible.

    I've heard some rumors about a GUI that allows you to create xactions and one (possibly crazy) person told me there's a sample in the Pentaho demo (PCI). Personally I discard such idiocy as ramblings of a crazy mind.

    but if pentaho BI is unable to run/create xaction for kettle then why pentaho says ........

    i am confuse and i am little bit surprise.

    if they arent integrate all those things in one action then why they say kettle is the integration tool for pentaho.

    we are not bother about what has taken from India , cause that was not our language.

    and i am really really surprise that someone in the forum can attack personally where that guy is really really intelligent .

    If you would have done the effort to at least search a bit you would have found your answer.

    The first hit when you search on wiki.pentaho.org on "xaction editor" leads to the link I mention above.

    If you use google you could have found this gem as well:

    Basically, there is one KettleComponent where you can plugin your .ktr file (under resources node) and can execute your kettle transformation.
