    Default removal of embedded a0

    hi, I'm pretty new to Pentaho and Kettle . . . I have a csv file that has some embedded hex 0a (non-breaking space apparently) characters embedded in one of the fields that I'm trying to pull out. I tried using the modified java script transformation with the replace function and escape sequences, but when I try to test the script I get an illegal character error. Anyone have any ideas on what I might be doing wrong or what the best way to do this is?

    current code is as follows:

    ZIP.setValue(replace(ZIP.getString(),\x2C \xA0,\x2C))

    thanks, Brad
