    Default shared.xml and kettle.propertie location

    Hi,

    I'm new to Kettle, but I've a large experience with Informatica. Therefore, I would like to congrats people developping Kettle as I found it really a great tool.

    Now, my question. I'm starting the Kettle job .kjb file in command line (I'm not using using repository). Apparently, this process is always expecting to find the shared.xml and kettle.properties under ~/.kettle directory. Is there a way to specify another location.

    Thanks in advance.

    Default Yet another question....

    Thanks for the indication, this solved this little problem.
    I've now a second question , I've the following Job:

    Start--hop-->Transfo1
    |
    +--hop----->Tranfo2

    Basically, The start is linked in paralelle with 2 transformations, doing so, I guessed that the 2 transformations would start both in the same time in paralelle, unfortunatly, the transformations are still executed one after the other. Is there a way to indicate to run the transformations in paralelle?

    Thanks in advance.

    The job entries in jobs run in sequence, not in parallel. If you want parallelism, use multiple jobs.

    Regards,
    Sven
