Default problem with text file output

    Hi,
I'm new to Kettle and I'm trying to use "Text file output".
I've found a couple of problems with fields trimming and the null attribute for fields.
Fields trimming is not really essential, but the null attribute would be very important to save me a lot of scripting.
    Am I missing something?
I also gave a look at the source code and my impression is that these features are not implemented at all.

    Thanks
    Rocco

Depends on what you mean... give an example. PDI follows for null the Oracle style... empty string is the same as null.

    That's exactly what I'm expecting.
The real case is with Informix database, however I reproduced it also on SQL Server and with in-memory generated rows.
    Here's the example.

    Thank you,
    Rocco
