Default Calling Java Functions

I Can't get the following to run on my server,

Code:
<action-definition>
<component-name>JavascriptRule</component-name>
<action-type>JavaScript</action-type>
<action-inputs>
<strHTML type="string"/>
</action-inputs>
<action-outputs>
<strHTML type="string"/>
</action-outputs>
<component-definition>

</component-definition>
</action-definition>

Is says that it can't find function 'write', not having tried calling Java functions before in an xaction where am I going wrong?

Cheers

Tom
