    How do you create a simple report using stored procedure as a dataset

    The SQL-Datasources of the reporting engine v 0.8.9 support stored proceedures.

    A call to a Stored-Proceedure has to use the JDBC "call" syntax as shown, for instance, here: http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutor...asics/sql.html
    The stored proceedure has to return a result-set and can be parametrized. The call is automatically intercepted by the data-source and handed to a JDBC-CallableStatement. Therefore you JDBC driver must ship with support for Callable-Statements.
