    Default manipulating JSON data

I was wondering if I can use Kettle to get JSON data from google maps geolocating service and insert values from response into my DB?
The steps i want to make:
    1. get company addresses from DB (SELECT address FROM companies)
    2. put address as parameter into:
    http://maps.google.com/maps/geo?q=address
    3. Google's response to this request is JSON table from which i want to get "coordinates" attribute.
    4. update my companies table with this coordinates (UPDATE companies set xcoord = ?, ycoord = ? where...)

Do you think I could do such tranformation in Kettle? Which steps should I use?

    thanks,
    Rafal

Not default... Daniel was made a POC for such a thing I think, but not 100% sure what the state of it is.

Not exactly, the work I did was to write a plug-in that does GeoIP lookups via MaxMind data.

Dizzy, I believe you can do this fairly well. Use the webservice step to query and get a string field back, then use the JS step to parse the string into a JSON data structure.
