    Default Problem with repository

    Hi all,


    I need help, I am working with spoon 3.0.4 , I installed in my computer without problem and make transformation and job very well, but I needed change my work an another computer, I installed XP profesional SP2, and SQL Server 2000, and JRE 1.6.0_06 , I configured the port 1433 in SQL Server, I wanted create the repository with JDBC native then I have the next error.

    Did you create the database in MS SQL?

    Well then, unfortunately, it doesn't sound to me like a Kettle problem, it sounds like a configuration issue. Either in the DB itself or in the connection dialog in Kettle. Can you connect to the DB from a different Java JDBC tool such as SQuirreL?

    Do you know one tips for my problem, I try many way, but no yet to have a solution. I replay every step in my new installation.

    Connection refused more often than not means that you configured SQL Server for Windows authentication only.
    That or you forgot to specify the instance name, or you simply don't have a username/password for the server, etc.
    Plenty of things to check.
