Question Excel file: How to specify more then one row as a Header row

    Hi Friends,

when I use input for text file I can specify the no of rows(more then one) to be treated as header.

But how to achieve same thing with PDI 3.0.4 in case of excel input.

there is option to select the header row but no option to specify how many rows should be treated as header?

    Thanks
    Novin

No not yet... Also not sure whether the 3rd party library we use supports that.

It's not as relevant since you can specify the location to start reading from.

    Thumbs up

    Hi MATT,

    Thanks a lot.

Now i found it with your help.

Is it really mandatory to pass the sheet-name there.

In my case sheet name will be changing.

I will trial and error and see how it goes.

Thanks and Have nice Long weekend.

In recent versions you can leave out the sheetnames and just specify the start column and row on the first line. (blank sheet name!)
