Default Calling java beans from Kettle

    Hi,

i have an existaing J2EE App with some batchs out of the app calling some java beans included in the Application.
This app is runing within Jrockit 1.4 so i try to replace these batchs by kettle trans/jobs using KETTLE 2.5 branch.

    My question is :
Is it possible to call some Java bean classes from a Kettle Step ?
If so how could it be done ?

I know there is a Webservice step but my J2EE app has no Webservices.

    Thanks

    Eric

http://wiki.pentaho.com/display/EAI/...sked+Questions for the FAQ I was thinking of, but I don't find the Q/A I was looking for.

The precursor of that faq is in your docs directory (and it should contain the Q/A on calling java/java beans from javascript).

Or you can follow following thread: http://forums.pentaho.org/showthread.php?t=59621
