Cool pass values to unix shell script

    Hi there,
I am trying pass a value (filename) that was created as an array in a transformation to a unix shell script that is part of a Kettle Job...
I have set up the following shell script values :
checked the "copy previous results to args?"
checked the "Execute for every input row"
the argument name is the name of the value from the previous transformation for which represents the array of filename.

When I execute this, the shell script does not appear to be actioned and the log states the following:
    2008/09/15 08:55:04 - Modified Java Script Value.0 - Finished processing (I=0, O=0, R=1, W=1, U=0, E=0)
    2008/09/15 08:55:04 - Select values.0 - Finished processing (I=0, O=0, R=1, W=1, U=0, E=0)
    2008/09/15 08:55:05 - ctlgetFilesForProcessing - Starting entry [uncompress_delta_files]
    2008/09/15 08:55:05 - Thread[ctlgetFilesForProcessing (ctlgetFilesForProcessing (Thread-5592)),5,main] - exec(2, 0, uncompress_delta_files.0)
    2008/09/15 08:55:05 - uncompress_delta_files - Found 0 previous result rows
    2008/09/15 08:55:05 - ctlgetFilesForProcessing - Finished jobentry [uncompress_delta_files] (result=true)
    2008/09/15 08:55:05 - ctlgetFilesForProcessing - Finished jobentry [getFilesForProcessing] (result=true)

The name of the shell script is "uncompress_delta_files"..

Can anyone shed some light on what I have to do get this working..

    Thanks,

    Prashant

    Default Copy rows to result

    Hi,
your shell job entry did not receive anything (Found 0 previous result rows) so your transformation did not send rows !

Did you use the "Copy rows to result" step in your transformation (i guess after your select values step)?

    Take care
