Default Oracle stored procedure output parameter

I've seen in a post from last year that there is no direct way for Kettle to handle cursors as output parameters. I was wondering if this is still the case.

If it is, I'd really appreciate any suggestions on how to go around the limitation. It's my first time working with Oracle SPs, so I'm not sure what other options I have.

    Thanks!

    Very well put Tomás!

Anyway, we don't support Oracle cursors as output of a stored procedure.
Maybe you can dump the data into a temporary table or something like that?

Yep, that's what I'm doing right now. I just wanted to check if there were any other common practices.

    Thanks!
