Check out the docs on the wiki, there's plenty of them, look at the acegi files in WEB-INF/ especially acegi-memory. If you swap to a db based repository you will get xaction and directory based security.

Pentaho should be able to integrate with RSA ClearTrust (apparently now known as RSA Access Manager). The question is, "how does RSA communicate the authenticated user to a webapp?" It seems that it uses HTTP request headers. While Pentaho does not support RSA Access Manager out of the box, you should be able to write a filter (using Java) that will process the authenticated user and allow him/her into the Pentaho webapp.

iam trying to implement security in this way is this correct procedure or not
or we can diractly install rsa on pentaho bi suit to provide security

where can i get the pentaho bi enterprise edition is it licenced version

    1) user types http://localhost:8080/portal in web browser
    2) Request goes to Web server(Apache Tomcat)
    3) Web server connects to Rsa Clear trust and check whether the user is valid or not
    4) If the user is valid Web server sends the request to the Application Server called Jboss
    5) Jboss connects to Pentaho BI suit and Runs the report and send the output to the Web browser through web server.

    regards
