    Default Help the VI users!

I'm a vi user and therefore used to <ESC>:wq to end editing
This is second nature, this flows out of my hands automatically...

As I use the javascript block a lot, this results in undoing my programming. Therefore on escape 'are you sure you want to discard your changes' would be more than appreciated. I have to reprogram every day because of me hitting escape....

We had that discussion before... I would suggest to get used to it . It seems the bigger half of the users wants it the current way. And making it optional seems a lot of work for a little bang.

I'm a heavy vi user myself and I've learned not to do it in PDI

    Sven

Simple, use ctrl+[ in vi instead of ESC

    Default Suggestion

Then I suggest all PDI users switch to vi!

Can someone embed the vi editor into the javascript block? Or in all text edit blocks?

I'm probably the biggest fan of vi on this forum, but this thread is quite silly. Talk about trying to confuse the heck out of our users.

I agree with Matt. Anything except discussing Emacs support in the javascript block is just plain silly.

You fool! Emacs is not an editor, it's an operating system.
