    Default Deprecated TeraDriver class name

Is there a way to change the JDBC driver class name for my Teradata connection? I receive the following warning when running the "Execute SQL Script" object against Teradata:

TeraDriver/sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader@a39137 The com.ncr.teradata.TeraDriver class name is deprecated. Please use the com.teradata.jdbc.TeraDriver class name instead.

Per Teradata, this new class name was implemented in JDBC v12. The following is from the v12 readme file (

    - New Teradata JDBC Driver class names are available.
    - For JDBC URL connections: com.teradata.jdbc.TeraDriver
    - For WebSphere Data Sources: com.teradata.jdbc.TeraConnectionPoolDataSource
The old class names will continue to work; however, a warning message
will be printed as a reminder to switch over to the new class names.
Please change your applications and data source definitions at your
earliest convenience, because the old class names will only be supported
for a limited number of future releases.

This is not stopping me from using the Teradata connection but at some point the old class name will be removed so I would like to change that if possible.

I have also tried using the generic database setup so I could set the class name but ran into an issue with that as well -- I'm still working through the scenarios, but may have to log a ticket for that one.

No, not possible. Feel free to file a JIRA ticket.
