    Default Salesforce Plugin

Kind of unrelated to Pentaho (I THINK...?) but how do I enable the API for the kettle plugin to work? I searched in the AppExchange for pentaho/kettle, etc but couldn't find anything.

Sorry for the seemingly stupid and possibly off-topic question.

    Hi,
The SalesForce plugin uses SalesForce API (AppExchange).
This plugin need login/password (password=password+TOKEN) to retrieve data (select a module) from SalesForce.

What's the token? I feel like this should be easy but maybe I'm having a slow day... I am getting an "API is not enabled" when I try it

In order to improve security you have your password and you have a token for that password.

Yeah - my error is not related to that. It looks like maybe I need the enterprise edition to use this tool...?

    Ok,

The lib (salesforcepartner.jar) used by the plugin is for the version 10.
    The target URL is https://www.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/10.0
