    Default JNDI and encryption

A quick question...can I have an encrypted password in the password field of the JNDI (jdbc.properties)?

Doubtful... if I remember correctly the simple jndi code is not of Pentaho, it's a third party library. Anyway it could only be obfuscation at best, not encryption.
