    Default Evaluating Pentaho - Pareto-Analysis and Segmentation

    Dear Community,

    I am currently evaluating Pentaho as a BI solution for direct marketing based on customer e-business transactions.

    Beyond the Pivot analysis as seen in many examples on this site, I am interested in conducting Pareto analysis and customer segmentation (e.g. via RFM-Analysis) based on the given data. I haven't been able to find much information on how to conduct these analysises with the standard Pentaho tools.

    It would be great if someone could point me to a tutorial or other information. Else, a hint on where to begin, e.g. seperation of tasks between Kettle and Mondrian, would be great help!
