    Default Cluster Oracle configuration

I'm configuring a connection on oracle database cluster.
I want to know following procedure's correctness.

I've two hosts. The first one IP is 11.56.4.148, while the last one IP is 11.56.4.149.
Both listen to port 1521. The service name is RAC

    I've to use kettle 3.0.1.

I've selected Oracle connection and I've put the following parameters

Host Server Name: is the host where rac is installed? (hostrac)
    Database Name: RAC
    Port: 1521
    Username: usr1
    password: pwd1

Then I've switched to the Cluster tab and I've put two rows:
    The first one is:
    ID: 1
    Host name: 11.56.4.148
    Port: 1521
    Database: RAC
    Username: usr1
    password: pwd1

    The last one is:
    ID: 2
    Host name: 11.56.4.149
    Port: 1521
    Database: RAC
    Username: usr1
    password: pwd1

In attachment, the stamp of my configurations:

    Name: cluster.jpg

    Is this configuration correct ?

    Thanks in previous instance.

    Ciao,
    Daniel

    No, it is not correct.
Why don't you search this forum for the answer?
    Or Google for it?
    Or use our wiki?

    Hi Matt,

I've already seen Wiki and Google for it.
I don't found a solution in my searches.

Sorry, but I don't understand the utility of the tab "cluster".

    Regards,
    Daniel
