    Default Setting repositories.xml path

    Hi,

    I have a shell script from which I am running a kitchen job. Now when I run the job manually from say XYZ path it looks for the repositories.xml file in that XYZ path but when I am trying to set up a cron job to run this script automatically it looks for the repositories.xml file in the home directory which is different than the XYZ path which is causing it to fail because it couldn't find the xml file.
    Now is there some way I can define somewhere the path for this repositories.xml file so that everytime I run a job whether manually or using cron job it looks at the same place?

    Thanks,
    SJ

    With env variable KETTLE_HOME --> $KETTLE_HOME/.kettle/repositories.xml

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply. But I am trying to look for the .kettle directory inside the main Kettle directory and I am unable to find any. Where exactly am I suppose to store the repositories.xml file? Is this .kettle a hidden directory?
    Also, should I set up my KETTLE_HOME as:

    export KETTLE_HOME=$SRCREP_HOME/Kettle/.kettle/repositories.xml

    where $SRCREP_HOME is where my Kettle is installed.

    Thanks,
    SJ

    No SJ

    Code:
    export KETTLE_HOME=$SRCREP_HOME/Kettle/
    Then you can create a .kettle directory in there and put your repositories.xml, shared.xml etc. in there.
