How long to wait till server starts?

Hi,

I downloaded PAT 0.2 but I can't get it to start. I unpacked it on my windows Vista and started the 'startup.bat'. The database is there in a few seconds, the server runs longer and stops at:
2009-04-30 15:40:08.707::INFO: Started SelectChannelConnector@0.0.0.0:8080

According to the readme I have to wait till it says:

When Jetty says its listening on :8080,

Is the message I get the right one? I tried starting it by going to http://localhost:8080/ but it doesn't start.

Any suggestions?

Sorry to heard that dibe0015, I know other people have been running it without issue and I created that package on vista. That being said, it was a bit of a hack to get it out for the deadline, and isn't packaged particularly well.

But I do have the same line at the bottom of my log:
INFO - FrameworkServlet 'dispatcher': initialization completed in 58 ms
2009-04-29 19:09:54.189::INFO: Opened /home/bugg/PAT/jetty-6.1.16/logs/2009_04_29.request.log
2009-04-29 19:09:54.232::INFO: Started SelectChannelConnector@0.0.0.0:8080

You could try chucking the .war into your favorite server tomcat will be just fine squire.

I just planned to have a quick look at it. I copied it into Tomcat (that comes with Pentaho) and I can start it, create a connection and upload a Schema.

I can also see the cubes and dimension, but I can't drag and drop them. But don't bother I don't have much time for it right now anyways but I'll keep watching PAT

Well the dimension selection workflow and the data table are the 2 big things for this next sprint, so those problems will hopefully vanish pretty soonish.

I did get it to drag and drop up to a certain extend. It looks promising
