muhahahahaha, I use progress and its hell, but it does work, you need to pick up the progress jdbc jars and dlls/.so's from the Progress Client tools(if you want to use it on linux, you'll need the linux client tools) or somewhere, and then http://wiki.pentaho.com/display/EAI/Progress
or use an odbc data source, both have advantages and disadvantages.

    Thanks for your answer

But where can I find "JdbcProgress.dll", "Procli92.dll", "jdbc.zip" and "progress.zip" ? And the Client tool for Linux ?

Are they free or not ?

Nope, nothing is free with Progress/OpenEdge, I think you couldn't get further away from being free. You'll have to get your boss to buy some stuff, datadirect may still do drivers, or openlinksw.com. That being said, if you have a Progress DB running at work, I'd be amazed if you don't have the client tools somewhere, how else do you administer the database?

    Ok Ok.

Databases are administered with scripts on the Linux server... or with the "Appbuilder" of Progress...

If i have to buy the driver, I hope that I succeed in install them and get the connection... And First i hope that i buy the correct driver and files...
