Default Executing stored procedures which return a recordset

    Challenge:

Manage SQL code within the database, so no embedded sql exists inside kettle-spoon transformations.

    Question:

Can stored procedures be used as the sql in a [Table Input] transfiormation? If so, what is the syntax, also taking into consideration passing parameters?

I would suggest you use the "execute db procedure" step for that.

I looked at that transfprm step, however the properties for the db sp only return simple data types, and not a recordset. I.E IN, OUT, INOUT. `

This was entered as a "quick reply" - not sure if that is the best way to reply?
