    Default How to solve sql error while using Dashboard for Pentaho 3.0

    when i running report in Pentaho 3.0,
    i"m getting the error below

    Error: ConnectFactory.ERROR_0001 - Database connection could not be established to: LocalHost - org.pentaho.platform.api.data.DatasourceServiceException: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Name LocalHost is not bound in this Context (org.pentaho.platform.plugin.action.sql.SQLLookupRule).

    Can anyone help me

    Default

    are you trying to access an existing dashboard or your own?
    did you create a new datasource and want to use that? (in administration console)
    did you name that datasource LocalHost?
    if not, what did you name it?


    you are trying to use a JNDI resource called LocalHost which doesn't exist..

    i have create my own database named LocalHost.
    i create new Dashboard from Publish options in Report Designer..

    When i creating new Database Connection in report Designer ,
    whether i can access only one schema in referring or all schema in Database Connection

    In Report Designer , Connect To Data

    JNDI Name : LocalHost
    Driver :com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
    Connection String :jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/ems
    User Name : root
    Password :root

    is this Parameter given correct

    yes your configuration seems ok, but i have strange feeling that the name has to be changed to something other than localhost.
    Simplicity never killed anybody!
