Thread: Pentaho Data Integration & IBM JVM

Question Pentaho Data Integration & IBM JVM

    Hi,
I need to deploy a Job that I have been developing in my Windows machine (with the Sun JVM) to a production server. The server is a linux box and it only has the IBM JVM.

Does anyone know if Pentaho Data Integration will work with the IBM JVM ? (I don't really need to run the Kettle GUI - running the job with Spoon should be enough).

And I can't really change the IBM JVM - they use this server to run java apps that are tightly coupled to DB2.

    Thanks

As long as it's a JRE version 1.5 or higher, it's OK.
I wouldn't recommend GCJ, but the rest works.
