Thread: I can't instal it on linux

    Default I can't instal it on linux

    I have installed ubuntu server 64bits on a virtual machine and i can´t start the graphical interface of kettle.

    root@Morpheus:~# uname -r

    root@Morpheus:~# echo $JAVA_HOME

    root@Morpheus:~# whereis java
    java: /usr/bin/java /etc/java /usr/share/java /usr/share/man/man1/java.1.gz

    root@Morpheus:~# java -version
    java version "1.6.0_0"

    OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.0-b08, mixed mode)

    root@Morpheus:~# whereis xulrunner

    root@Morpheus:~# xulrunner -version
    Mozilla XULRunner

    The content:

    Can anyone help me to solve this ?

    Install the Sun JDK, or, if you enjoy pain and frustration, go visit the Eclipse / SWT forums and figure out how to get SWT playing nicely with OpenJDK
