    Default Defining a role which can access more than one siblings

    Hi Everyone,

    I am trying to create a role which can access more than one siblings of a node.

    Code:
            <Role name="manager">
            <SchemaGrant access="none">
                <CubeGrant cube="cube1" access="all">
                    <HierarchyGrant hierarchy="[Department]" topLevel="[Department].[Department]" access="custom">
                        <MemberGrant member="[Department].[ MarCom ]" access="all">
                        </MemberGrant>
                        <MemberGrant member="[Department].[ HR ]" access="all">
                        </MemberGrant>
                    </HierarchyGrant>
                </CubeGrant>
            </SchemaGrant>
        </Role>
    using this role, I want to see all records for Marcom and HR department but in my case seems by default it is showing only Marcom's records and its even not considering the HR department..

    Am I missing anything here?? Kindly correct me..

    Regards,
    Pankaj

    As I got frustrated, I tried creating two roles one which can access Marcom and second which can access HR and tried creating a union of those two roles...buttt I am getting same result which I was getting before...

    Code:
        <Role name="HR manager">
            <SchemaGrant access="none">
                <CubeGrant cube="Spend_Analysis_Cube" access="all">
                    <HierarchyGrant hierarchy="[Department]" topLevel="[Department].[Department]" access="custom">
                        <MemberGrant member="[Department].[ 4000-HR ]" access="all">
                        </MemberGrant>
                    </HierarchyGrant>
                </CubeGrant>
            </SchemaGrant>
        </Role>
        <Role name="MarCom manager">
            <SchemaGrant access="none">
                <CubeGrant cube="Spend_Analysis_Cube" access="all">
                    <HierarchyGrant hierarchy="[Department]" topLevel="[Department].[Department]" access="custom">
                        <MemberGrant member="[Department].[ 2000-MarCom ]" access="all">
                        </MemberGrant>
                    </HierarchyGrant>
                </CubeGrant>
            </SchemaGrant>
        </Role>
            <Role name="MarCom HR manager">
            <Union>
                <RoleUsage roleName="HR manager" />
                <RoleUsage roleName="MarCom manager" />
            </Union>
        </Role>
