    Default Howto format pieChart labels?

    Hi there,

    I try to format the label of a pieChart (the one which is activated with <display-labels>true</display-labels>).

    By default it shows a lot of detail: "740'302.405 (82%)"
    How can I change this to something like

    - "740'302" or
    - "82%" or even
    - "740T (82%)"

    I have found several hints, but none really works:

    1. <labels-content>{1}</labels-content>

    2. jfreechart.xaction: here I only find parameters for tooltip content and format

    2. via epression, but I assume that was for a very early version..
    <expression class="org.pentaho.plugin.jfreereport.reportcharts.PieChartExpression" name="PieChart">
    <properties>
    <property name="pieLabelFormat">{0}</property>
    <property name="pieLegendLabelFormat">{2}</property>
    </properties>
    </expression>

    is there a way to change label format and content?

    Thanks for any hint.

    Hi,

    Have you found a solution to your problem? I'm also trying to customize the labels

    Thanks.

    Question

    No, I have not yet found a solution for that.
    But you'll find it here as soon as I found a way.
