    Default Exception_access_violation

Here is the error I'm getting when trying to run a job through Kitchen.

    # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:
    #
    # EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x6a1e6c3d, pid=4688, tid=4768
    #
    # JRE version: 6.0_21-b06
    # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (17.0-b16 mixed mode windows-x86 )
    # Problematic frame:
    # C [OTERRO35.DLL+0x16c3d]

    Any ideas?

It could be related to the newest jre. If you continue to see this issue, you should post it as a jira with a test case.

Do you think downgrading to a prior version might help?

That seems a little backwards....but if it works I guess I would do it.

It is not always the best policy to use the latest JRE, but the PDI seems to be running just fine for me under 1.6.0_18

Can you describe the steps you used to generate the error and does it reoccur consistently?

It occurs consistently with a certain job I'm running.

I have a very simply job I used as a test and it works fine when running via Kitchen.

My "big" job is a lot more complex. I already bumped up the memory in Kitchen.bat to use 1.5gig.

The access violation comes when it tries to read that certain dll.....but I truly thinks a memory issue because I opened up the dll file to "everyone" just in case it was an ACL issue.
