Where can I find online documentation on Pentaho Reporting API?

Is Pentaho Reporting API documented? I am having a hard time finding any documentation on how to use Pentaho Reporting API. If someone can point me a direction, that would be greatly appreciated.

So far, it has been an exhausting expedition.
