    Default binary files

    hi guys.... I have a simple question.... how I do read a binary file??? I'm waiting good proposals

    hi there,

    since kettle 4.0 you can use the "load file content in memory" step. You should probably make the content field type "Binary" then, which internally means byte[]. In kettle 3.2. you'd have to do some scripting, I guess.

    thanks slawo..... I´m not working with 4.0 ,so then......i'll work too much in the next hours, Oh my god....I need urgent vacations!!!! and a beatifull lady for massages

    Hi All,

    I am trying to read binary file. As suggested, I am using "Load file content in memory module", but could not find "Content Type" option to select Binary.
    I am sorry, if this query have been resolved earlier. i couldnt find to had to post here.
    Can you please help?
