    Post Crontab doesn't work

    Hi,

    I made a bash script to run my job using pan

    =================================================================
    case $1 in

    start)

    sh /opt/Kettle-3.0.1/kitchen.sh -file=/home/aries/etl/main_job.kjb -level=Basic

    ;;

    esac

    exit 0

    =================================================================

    I run it using /etc/init.d/etl start

    Is it correct that I placed that command in crontab ? Because it doesn't work..

    Hi,

    how does the line for the command look like in your crontab?
    Usually you do not have to put a script into /etc/init.d.
    It is sufficient if the script resides "somewhere"

    use:
    crontab -l
    to list your current crontab, then copy&paste the line of the command here...

    Best regards,

    Tom
