Thread: Update to Null

    Default Update to Null


    I tried searching for this in the forum without success.

    Based on certain conditions, I need to "unset" (update to null) a flag in a table. This flag field is of type date. If a date is present, it means the record has been processed, if it's null, means it's not. On some cases I need to unset this back to null, but I don't know how to do this with the Update step.

    I could of course do it with an Execute SQL statement but I guess this will be way slower than a plain Update. I'm using PDI v3.2 at the moment.

    Any ideas?

    Have you tried Null if...?
